We all heard those comments from Duasso about Perry being one of the best players on the team. What has Shaq been saying about Perry, he the goods?

Wrong question.

A fair question would be, "UknowWhat, based on your perception, as limited as it may be, do you see Perry's maturity as a Redshirt indicative of a successful run at QB?"

I argued on behalf of DJ Williams over John or Jon Garvin ... Shaq was John works extremely hard and wants it more... I was looking at a 5 star vs 3 star... He won that bet... Shaq 1 me O.... now the topic is the next QB I argue Perry or Williams ... his rebuttal is which ever QB that steps ups and leads... he said they are pretty close to even skill set wise... and he added don't count Weldon out. He says Perry works hard and is focused on being the man.... I mentioned to him you need to catch one of the QBs working out and work with him to work on coverage and ball skills... he said he does from time to time and Perry is always working... He thought that Rosier was the leader by default being the upper Glassman and no one really tried to challenge that especially after Perry got the shirt

One was 22 and the other is a 17 year old that was here a month. I'm pretty sure he meant both can move and have good arms. That's where their sill set comparisons stop.

Main difference is one has way better natural mechanics and natural throwing motion. Perry throws a beautiful ball. He just needed reps and time in the playbook to start , a month on campus isn't enough time.

TBH, NP needed more weight and time in the s&c program,so I think it worked out for the best.

Lastly I always hear how hard he works , and is always watching film. Mix that in with his natural ability and I wouldn't bet against him. Work ethic/film study is one of the areas most young qb's don't get early on.

Now we see why DJ halled ***, everything up to this point had come easy to him!

I wouldn't take it that far...If he had problems back home it makes it that much more difficult to focus on school and practice.

Those 2 enlarged sections mean everything to me. The talent is there. If he's a worker, I think he's going to do some good things if he doesn't get shook during games.

To me, if Perry learned that being a D1 QB at a major program is all about being the first one in, last one out of the building - than this RS season was completely worth it. Your signal caller has to be the absolute most committed guy on that team.

Yessir. And the team has to know it too. This is great news

Where is Perry standing on the sideline at all times?

Right next to Richt. He's a sponge and is focused on getting better. Great sign.

Perry also always seemed to be in the middle of most celebrations.

Seems to genuinely care for his teammates and enjoys being there

Perry takes the job in the spring and I can see Rosier trasferring as a post-grad to a lower level school.
