Why do we do this every single year? This kid is 18 years old, maybe 19. Will he ever start here? Who knows. Currently he has two guys in front of him who are both more experienced in this system. He’s still learning how to watch film, eat right to gain weight while also working his *** off on Greentree and in the weight room. He’s talented and I have heard nothing but positive comments about him. I hope he does start here. I hope he wins a natty here. And I feel the same way about Nickel, Abrams, Annis and Cyphers.

That's what people do on fan forums like this. I agree that it's too early to get an idea if he can start here. But that's not going to stop people from talking about.

Why do people get so angry when you call a visibly tiny QB, tiny. Maybe he gains weight maybe he’s Bryce Young. But maybe he is also 175 pounds and 5’10. Arm is impressive for his size no doubt. Hope he finds a Russian HGH protocol.

No doubt. If he’s on the roster already he will be the guy.

Good news is we may have a couple guys we can trust. I have faith the staff will have a truly serviceable second around at all times as well.
 
Hard to keep quality depth at that position. Backup quarterback strategy will be one of the more interesting trends to track. Will some really good QBs be willing to function as a career backup for the right money? You don’t want to see a $50mm roster investment go up in smoke with one bad injury to your starting QB. Lane, both at Ole Miss and now at LSU, made sure he had talented guys behind his starter.
 
Don’t want to be that fan, but I legitimately think that cypher kid is the next big thing. He’s not coming here to sit. Be interesting to see where that leaves us with Nickel, Coleman, Abrams and cypher

Russian gas dude. I was on it when I played in the KHL.
 
I've said this before, but his team last year was basically him and VB3. The state championship game against Heritage was him running for his life and somehow still making something shake. He's a pretty tough kid. I'd be more concerned about the weight than the height. He can have a Kyler Murray like impact at the college level.

Because you omitted the part that pizses people off - when they add "he'll never take a snap here" at the end. It reads/feels as though the person writing that is rooting against the kid. Whether or not they are actually rooting against him may or may not be true..
