That release is special. Marino had it (of course) but another guy in a different sport had it…..Dwight Gooden. Go back and watch Gooden’s 1984-86 seasons with the Mets. He was able to turn his arm and wrist into a “whip” and the ball just flew out of his hand. A release like Coleman’s is able overcompensate for other abilities that he falls short in.

I've heard about lady boy traps in Thailand... This sounds like that... Let's wait for pads and game experience. Most QB's fail...

the ball jumps out of his hand ... i'm not saying he's a pro, i'm not even saying he's the answer next year, but his redshirt soph year i think he emerges ... his measurables will keep him in college and he'll be very productive ... live arm, unlimited weapons, oline ... i think he's the homegrown qb

you know what, nevermind

He didnt shrink lol.. Colleges always boost up guys an inch or two.. especially when they dont have prototype size. He needs to eat, and gain weight. Him using texas AM QB as reason why he is fine is not ideal to me because he is even smaller than him.
Of course he didn’t shrink hence the quotations… gaining weight can be fickle for some people. Can’t gain weight no matter how much they try and done just have natural growth spurts. If I had to guess, if he doesn’t reach 190lbs he probably won’t see the field regularly here for multiple reasons… so we’ll see.

Let’s pray the hype is legit & he’s the guy, but it’s silly anointing him on Day 1. Let it play out.
fair ... i'll ask this ... of the qbs we've signed since mario has been coach, do any of them come in with this kids arm talent?

From “Great get” to “he’s never gonna be it” in what, 3 seconds? My, this is Porsche Carrera GTS neighborhood…

Arm talent is definitely encouraging & nice starting point, but QB position is a lot more than just arm talent. Again, hope he’s the one. Let him develop, win the QB2 battle & then start projecting.

and it's not just one practice guys ... you realize they've been working for a few months now ... the no pads argument is legit, but the first practice thing is fan based as it's our first viewing

give him a year or two and i think he's the homegrown answer
