Ugly Game... Still undefeated

It's an ugly win... it happens. There were things that showed up this game that wasn't an issue before, like sustaining drives. That can get cleaned up.

Probably took this team for granted bc of all the injuries and looking ahead to VT. Classic trap game on the road but we won.

Travis Homer isn't on Mark Waltons level as a rb though. Thats ok bc that's why he was 2nd string and not a starter. But Mark Walton would've given our offense better production in both pass blocking and carrying the load.

Ahmmon Richards has always had issues with drops.. dropped a few last year in crucial moments as well. Hopefully he figures it out which is possible.

We are not a good defensive team... our overall rank says so and our obvious issues with stopping the run. Tale tale sign of a defense that's a work in progress.

Offense needs work, play calling needs work but execution is the biggest issue. Rosier seemed to lock on one receiver too many times this game. Needs to step it up.

All in all very ugly game but we are still undefeated.

every good team has these types of games or they are losing these games. lets see how we play the next 2 weeks before we say we suck.

Exactly... Clemson lost to Syracuse but who would most pick to win in a rematch? Each week is different but id rather win ugly than lose pretty.

People were wayyy too quick to claim Homer was better than Walton.

Homer has some talent but he really needs to step up. The OL and playcalling did not help him, but he didn’t make any plays on his own today-which Walton did regularly.

If I had to be critical of one person on this team besides Robert Knowles lol... it's got to be Zach McCloud. Hes jus not a good player at all. Not even average, he's like the Robert Knowles of linebackers.

I'd rather start any other lb on the roster than him.... I wish they moved Amari Carter to that position to see how he would look bc I'm pretty confident he could beat out McCloud.

Exactly.... Walton would've found some lanes that were there with his cut back ability.

Its kind of strange having a rb like Homer who isn't that big but is as stiff and one dimensional as he is.

Agreed. We barely beat the UNC marching band today. At least, I guess that's who it was since there entire roster was injured prior to the game.

Uninspiring football.

We are undefeated because we haven't played a good team. Don't say Toledo please.

I would have been disappointed with this performance even if we had already dropped a game or two. No excuse for this program to be out-coached and played by a team that was in their position. Clean it up and move on.

Walton wouldn't be doing **** behind this OL, nobody would.

Walton had big games vs Bethune Community College and Toledo.

I seen his resume last season vs anyone with a pulse and it shows nothing to support the claim he would do better than Homer or anyone else for that matter.
