UGAy fans LFAO at us for extending CMR

You presume CMR was playing it safe because you think you know better than him and John. They see the QB's every day. They would have started NKosi if he gave us a better chance to win. He didn't last year and probably won't this year. We all want to win, but CMR has to run a program that lasts longer than one season. You go around disregarding one kids future for another kids potential and kids won't play for you. You always try and play the best kid or you run the risk of developing a bad reputation of showing favoritism. In todays social media climate that could be suicide.

Just let the competition play out.

BTW Malik had us as high as #2 last year. Should he come back improved with an improved team around him who knows what can happen if he gets us back into the discussion late in the season.
Shut up 🤐 Malik had us at #2??? Are you retarded??? The correct word is “Despite” Malik’s ****** accuracy The team was ranked #2. All credit goes to CMR and staff for masking his flaws for as long as they did. You must have been one of the fools thinking he was such a prize and not really paying attention because we were winning. SMDH

Teams don't win despite the players they have, they win because of the players they have. You seriously think the 10 wins were due to CMR outcoaching better teams? What games were you watching? ND was the only team that we came out and smashed that we shouldn't have. Otherwise there were lots of reasons we weren't elite last year with Malik being only one of them.

Shake off your fascination with some freshman QB coming in to save us. Its a pipe dream. There is no quick way back to the promised land and your idea to rush it by pushing a potentially better QB aside to groom another that YOU believe has a higher ceiling is just stupid. Even Saban isn't just handing the job to Tua Tagovailoa despite real bowl game results. CMR and co know how to run a team. You? Not so much.

My dude can run a team better typing through Cheetos dust and buzzing on Mountain Dew than a guy with years of coaching experience and a 75% winning record in the SEC.

Plus he’s seen at least 3 minutes of YouTube practice videos so he knows who the QB should already be. Even before summer practice.

Trust him.

This is our guy no matter what. Great, suck, or in between. He isn’t going anywhere for a VERY VERY VERY long time. So any hater may as well embrace him.
I dont think he wins us a natty but i do like the guy as a coach. Its better than anything we had since butch

I hate to say it, but this screams of Goldenization. Even with the holes at QB & OL (huge holes to have), this team got to #2 in the last week of the season & probably gets in the CFP without the Pitt loss. Recruiting has improved every year since Richt arrived (Storm 18 is underrated at #8), & the SoFL talent pool - the key to our success since the 80s - isn't going anywhere.

You might still be recovering from the last 15 years. I see Richt rebuilding a monster.

Really then tell me why the prisons are so overcrowded today that they are letting out non violent offenders released before their time is up.and I'm a dimwit

Well you clearly are a dimwit since they have no correlation with each other. The Murder rate in the 70s and 80s hovered between 8-10 murders per 100,000 people. From 2010-2018 it has been around 5. Burglaries, Rapes, armed robbery are all lower now then they where in the good old days. A higher percentage of criminals get caught and convicted now then ever before because of how advanced forensics, cameras, etc have become. Only a real idiot would try and say it is more dangerous to walk the streets now then in the 70s or 80s or think that more shootings happen now then in the 70s/80s. Just look at the stats. You must think that just because you see more murders reported on the news now that it means there is more crime. That is not the case.

You nailed why the manner in which the news is reported is a huge problem. Without looking at the numbers, one would believe that certain cities are war zones, and that our nation is becoming more violent. The numbers do not bear that out.

Agreed. There was over 1800 murders in NYC back in 1980 and that wasn't even the worst year They reached over 2200 at one point. They had 286 this year.

Did I say to hand it to the frosh??? No!!! Try again Gumbo!! What I see is that you’re fascinated with a mediocre quarterback that can’t hit open receivers or little bubble screens for that matter which he’s been struggling in the spring to hit. **** Jacob Eason from Georgia had a great season as a frosh and went down with an injury his sophomore season only to have another frosh take over and ball. Wasn’t the kid from NCarolina a frosh also and he gave us a run for our money? Many games should have been blow outs but because our Quarterback couldn’t hit open receivers or put it in front so the receiver can get some yards after catch like it was the case many times with Honey Nut Berrios who always had to adjust or reach behind to make incredible catches. You don’t know ****!!! We blew out ND because our Defense came out and punches them in the mouth and stopped their running game which they relied heavily on. I believe we had the best defense in the country last year which kept us in the games. We have a top notch freshman QB that I believe will win the job! I never said to hand it to him. One last question! What was Malik’s completion % smart guy???? Get it together Tom Tom.

I think he ended the season with a 54%. If accuracy were the only thing a QB needed then we'd be in deep dodo right now, but he also accounted for 31td's. Thats not to shabby. He was sacked 24 times. Only the kid from syracuse was sacked more. I'm not satisfied with inaccuracy I just understand that there could be other extenuating circumstances. Our OL stunk last year. Give the kid a clean pocket and a year under Richt before you throw him under the bus. You really going to get excited about Jarren's completion percentage in a non contact scrimmage against the second and third stringers?

Like I said if Jarren beats him out and earns it then that’s that. If Malik holds on to the job then that’s that and I’ll get on board. But I’ll tell you one thing, Richt wouldn’t be complementing this kid so much if he didn’t think this kid has a shot at the job. He really didn’t do that last year with Nkosi, Malik won by a landslide.

I do know Richt publicly said he was suspicious of UNC reading our play calls. This was the first time I ever saw Miami sidelines put up a screen during play calling. I don't know what tipped off Richt, but he's been doing this too long to be wrong about that. Mark Richt doesn't cry wolf that often...
And fedora always does some bush league **** with Miami

Agreed.

It's ok in private, but CMR tweeting for UGA last year was some little **** ****.

I don't see Saban tweeting good luck to Michigan State or Urban Meyer saying good luck to Utah/UFag.

They're focused on championships. CMR is focused on that, but also using his bandwidth on this pointless moral crusade that does not translate into Ws sometimes.
You're retarded
