This year, and that's all that matters. You need to be excited to get a coach that had a team like that, and won 10 games.

Mark Richt's metric here will be how many meaningful games he can win. Whether those happen in the Coastal or hopefully out of it, I don't see any reason we should lower the standard for him.

Winning the coastal is all that matters? To who?

Do you ******* pansies teach your kids to try and finish **** anywhere except last, or do you save that **** for football?

North Carolina would've beat Georgia.

No they wouldn't have. Georgia has a legitimate defense. Its specifically designed to stop offenses like Carolina.

Yes they absolutely would have. Clemson's much better defense gave up 37 to North Carolina. North Carolina would have beat Georgia fairly easily and put it away in the 4th.

Who knows? North Carolina lost to South Carolina and 2 weeks later Georgia absolutely embarrassed South Carolina.

True, but I think most would agree that UNC got better as the season went on and in November they looked as good as anybody. Georgia beats Auburn by 7, Georgia Southern by 6 in OT, and GT by 6 to end their regular season.

You need to lay off the egg nog. Georgia D is way better than Clemson....the stats don't lie. They were #1 against the pass and top 20 against the run....UGA problems were on offense. UNC would have got smoked by their running game.

Don't drink eggnog but you seem to have sampled some. Clemson's D blows Georgia's out of the water considering Georgia plays in the worst offensive conference in football and the good offenses they played ran it up (Alabama and Tennessee with 38 points a piece). How good are you if any good offense puts up points? UNC would be the best offense Georgia would see all year and just because Georgia would be able to run it on them they wouldn't be able to keep up. The best offense they beat this year was ranked #79 in Auburn.

Mark D'Onofrio had a top 15 defense two years ago. Stats absolutely can lie.

Yea that matters. The point was he would have ran through coastal, played Clemson in ACC championship, and shot for huge bowl if not NC.

Clemson.....seriously? The same team UGA ran all over for almost 400 yards last year? We will agree to disagree...

Last year before guys like Lawson, Alexander, and company took the next step. Last year is last year. This year is this year.

But agree to disagree. Still respect your opinion.

Bring me ships!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!While divisional and conference ships are welcomed....the goal at Miami is National Championship.

But I am less concerned about MR talking the NC talk....he just needs to walk the walk.

I am all in until I have reason not to be. Go Canes!!!!!
