UGA vs UF

All this talk of SEC size, but our D starters are bigger then UF D.
The SEC size advantage hasn’t been a thing for a long time. Saban likely stopped looking for prototypical NFL size prospects years ago. Probably right around the time his 260 pound linebackers started having no value against spread offenses.

Even Richt at Georgia was supposedly keeping guys like Leonard Floyd lean to keep them fast. I remember there being serious questions on why he was such a lightweight when he was drafted.

Its just like SEC defenses, it’s all hype.

Starting to believe that Georgia doesn't like having a black QB playing for them.
No reason to keep Bennett in the game.
Mathis can't be any worse.
Possibly but in the first game it was obvious Mathis wasn’t ready. That offense was made for Newman.

I actually don't think it was a dirty hit - Pitts lowered his head. #16 had two choices - get out of the way or lower his shoulder.

Not sure what he's meant to do there - just one of those plays.

I wasn't judging intent, like you said it's too hard to do that now. Just the impact of the hit was brutal, don't see it as much as we used to a few years ago.
