Losing is losing. UGA did not fire the best coach they ever had to lose closer to Bama.
Additionally CMR beat Bama a couple times.

First of all. He played Saban only twice when he had built up the Bama powerhouse that Kirby had to face. Saban at LSU was nothing compared to what he has been the last 10 years at Bama.

None of this has to deal with original point though. We were talking about Kirby vs Richts first 3 years. The one year that Mork actually would have made the playoff he didn't have to deal with Saban. That is the point. He played Saban one time in those 3 years and it was an LSU saban not over a decade at Bama Saban like Kirby faced.

The #8 team in the country nowadays wouldn't go to the Outback bowl. You are presenting the dumbest argument in CIS history.

LMAOOO you are joking? OSU would have smashed a mork team. HE LOST TO ZOOK! No the OL was not fine up to that point. Had he had his OL lined up with 5 stars he would have had an even bigger lead that would have been impossible to comeback against. Who gives af? The committee cares when comparing teams about the score differential. You just have morks balls so far down your throat you can't see the obvious which is Kirby is 10x the coach Mork could ever hope to be.

The results to flesh that you. NC visit and NY6 bowl is better than Ny6 bowl and Capital one bowl. PLUS 7 5 stars in 1 year, 5 5 stars in early enrolle period and more blue chip olineman signed in 3 years than Mork has signed in his entire career.

In Richt's first 3 seasons he faced 4 teams that finished the year in the top 5 before bowl season started. Kirby faced 1 (Bama this year). Again, I ask, who were these powerhouses? Kirby has had 3 straight cakewalk regular seasons, and was gifted Auburn in the SECCG last year without Kerryon Johnson (who blew them out with KJ if you remember).

No, they brought Kirby in to do better than Mork did his LAST few years. I am not confusing either. When you recruit like that you are bound to have great seasons.

We don't need to pretend anything. Only 2 of the top 16 teams don't make it into a NY6 bowl nowadays. This year it was #13 Wash St and #16 WVa who didn't make it. The rest were in. A #8 UGa team would obviously be in. I'm not upset about Mark retiring, you're just retarded and need to deflect anything and everything away from your horrid debating that makes zero sense.

The SEC finished hire because they were even more overated in those days then they are today. That said Morks trip to the "playoff" everyone likes to bring up had UF, Tenn, kentucky and USCe, not even finishing ranked. Vanerbilt, kentucky, and USCe, were jokes back then, but now they are actual solid to good teams. Tenn is worse now I will give you that, but Florida is better. Then in the west obviously going against the current Bama was harder than anything UGA had to go against in the past.
