Read the original post that was quoted before trying to be a smartass...

"UGA weren't up for that game - they were sulking because they were (rightly) left out of the playoffs.

It was a statement game for Texas, so they went full bore.

If I'm a UGA fan or on their board I'm worried that Smart couldn't motivate his players for the Bowl game. The best coaches are able to do that - even when it's 'meaningless'. They might just have another Mark Richt on their hands. "

This is a good point that goes to show those guys were motivated and want to be great and this paid for UGA team wanted to get a job story to be let in the playoffs with their main argument being that they lost to Alabama. What? We are in a time where losing good matters?

Thanks for the heads up. If an upstart coach like Kirby can't get his guys up for a bowl game then UGA probably is in trouble. they aren't used to winning at UGA.

Yeah he needs to beat Saban, but he has come the closest. If he is smart he would give Fields a much bigger role. But how can they give up on that man knowing the crap Richt was doing. I doubt thats majority of their fanbase though.

There was literally no excuse for allowed that open bomb to end their season last year. That’s just Saban catching Kirby with his pants down.

Both Richt and Smart were masterful overall in their first 3 years at UGA. Shows how dumb sports fans are.

Agree but just not the success recently to be put in that place with those other programs right now though
