Yeah, G-Day was yesterday (their spring game). Sounds like he just got drunk and stupid.

About to be a multi-millionaire and he can’t hold off on getting drunk and stupid for another week? I am interested for the body cam to come out, something as stupid as obstructing a sidewalk is going to be must see tv.

Yeah, I wonder if the cops were trying to push the crowd over or something and it just got out of hand. I have a feeling he wasn’t the only one arrested, just the only one that made headlines.

And who knows if he was drunk. Like I said, that was all my conjecture. He may not have even been drinking, just hanging out. Or maybe he just had a beer or two. Who knows.

But saying that, yeah cops in a lot of College towns can/do have a hard on for students and athletes. There’s a thin line between love and hate. I’m grateful that the CGPD back in the 70’s understood what Douchbags we were and let us slide, as long as we went back to campus for the rest of the night. And thankfully the Ratt was open.

Branch's bond was $39. This is just stupid. I typically side with policeman because their jobs are stressful and dangerous, but a bond of $39, come on.

Agreed. That's why I said above we'll see if the charges even stick, or if his attorney can get them dismissed or at worst, down to something even smaller. This isn't that big of a deal.

Which way, lived in ATL. For 26 yrs did my post grad work at UGA and had some business outlets there in Athens. Great town just kind of hectic during FB season.
