UFC 247

Didn't like this fight at all, neither one of them attacked like they should've.

Reyes got an early lead & evaded for the rest of the fight, Jones kept throwing one shot takes all strikes & if they didn't connect proceeded to job around the octagon all night waiting for a fight.

This was either a draw or a double decision loss IMO, they both looked too tentative & weren't treating this like a championship fight.

Either rematch or Jones needs to move up to HW.

Disagree. Reyes attacked exactly like he should have the first three rounds. Came out swinging against the best there ever was and went up three rounds. Even with the last two rounds of evading they weren't 10-8 rounds. Especially if the first with a knockdown wasn't 10-8.

Straight up robbery. Jones did nothing on the ground and got outboxed on the feet. 48-47 Reyes all day long. UFC going the way of boxing....
I'm not a fan of either fighter, but it looked to me like Reyes blew his load in those first two rounds and was just looking to survive after that.

Caught Jones a couple of times, but he was always on the back foot. He only has himself to blame for losing the decision in my opinion.

He didn't go for the kill, he was trying to score his way to victory, which is bad strategy when you're the challenger in a championship fight.

I'm not saying that Jones won, but I don't feel Reyes did anything to take the fight either. He didn't maintain aggression, he backed off & ran laps around the octagon.

I just think neither one of them did anything to beat the other definitively.

Jones won.... Reyes was more than game... But you gotta take the strap... 48-47 Jones

Jones won... You have to take the strap.... Boxing, you can *** your way to win in some cases..

Whoever had it 49-46 needs to get fired.

Here's the problem...he won rounds 2 and 3 on two sets of scorecards. 49-46 isn't that egregious

Rogan and Cruz ranting about boxing judges in MMA but then up in arms when a guy that threw more punches in a few rounds loses those rounds.

I thought two was razor thin. I'd give it to Reyes, but not arguing with the scoring. I thought Jones won the last three easily.

Bro I really can't deal with Rogan anymore. The guy is so biased in his announcing it is unbelievable.

Favorite part of the fight was jones trying to convince himself and the 20k booing people that he actually won the fight.

"I was getting killed on my feet the first three rounds so I think my couple desperation takedowns in the 4th sealed the deal! History and all that"

BTW UFC with gr8 booking for first half of 2020.

Lioness, Bones, Khabib v. Tony Ferguson, Stylebender v. Yoel Romero, WeiLi Zhang v. Joanna...

The Fight Nights and ESPN cards look good, too.

Great time to be a fan

Undercard of the main card was trash...but prelims were good Valentina had a gr8 performance, and a 5 round war with the GOAT.

If you didn't enjoy...idk what to tell you. Been enjoying the **** out of MMA lately.

I'm not much on prelims. PPV cards have been trash for the most part since the company was sold...

I enjoyed tonight... Jones and Reyes put a good fight on..
