Is that the slam dunk that's gonna haunt us on the recruiting trail? Thought they might try and make a big splash..

He's a very good coach. Career trajectory is very similar to Jimbos.

But he's not Urban. He's not a slam dunk. They'll be way better but who knows if that wins them the SEC.
 
Very few coaches are a slam dunk but they got a guy that comes from the saban tree and already has HC experience. He's going to do very well up there.
 
i am not scared at all..and i had a similair feeling when they hired muschamp- hopefully my feeling is correct again.

gator have only had two coaches who won NCs there. We have had four and one of those was Coker. It is easier to win here than that school up north. Only really, really, really, crappy coaching keeps us out of the title. The slightest mistake by BOT hiring a half-way decent coach and we win again. Who they get doesn't matter. All that matters is who Miami gets.

Feels like a wait and see hire. Who he hires on his staff will be the determining factor as we know he can coach
