UF continues to set the bar

Of being chicken **** vaginas.

The article headline is a touch misleading. Anything from UF is dubious at best, but the AD does have a point when compared to other big D1P5 programs.

I think some (myself included) thought the CFBPO woukd at least diminish the strength of schedule argument, but hasn't due to the limited 4 slots.

Open it up to all conference champs and then we'll get to more "NFL division" debate.

Sadly the state forced them to play FSU years ago or they’d avoid them too

I don't know how much we can expect from a group that looks like this....

Since UF claims they are handcuffed from scheduling home on home series with other P5 schools due to their FSU series, perhaps they can call their SEC brethren UGA and South Carolina. Both of them schedule a yearly home on home with an ACC opponent on a yearly basis (Ga Teach & Clemson).
I'm sure they will be willing to help UF with this dilemma. .

"Because, basically, Florida doesn't get much public credit for taking on Florida State every season."

"Hard to find a Power 5 opponent available for H/H prior to 2025, but working on some neutral sites before then and H/Hs for later part of decade," Stricklin wrote.

Its so pathetic that I'm having trouble coming up with a comment. They want "public credit" for playing an instate rival. I live in SC. I loathe the SEC. But I have NEVER heard an SC fan hide behind "but we play Clemson". They're convinced they're going to beat them every year. But to hear a Ufag fan talking about "but we play neutral site games" is a ***** move. They play neutral site games that are ALWAYS in favorable locations TO THEM.

Fckin cowards.

Bama has to play Auburn every year. Not to mention the SEC West.
Bama also plays teams like FSU, USC,, Miami (2021) etc. Usually one good OOC team a year.

You don't hear them *****ing.

We do the same. Norte Dame, Ohio State, Bama (2021). Plus we play FSU every year as well.

The Gators have always wanted cupcake schedules.

I posted this article yesterday in Gator Tears. The gaytors haven't played a home and home OOS (OOC) series since the 80's...but they're sick and tired of having to defend it. Lol. They're the gaytors for a reason.

At the end of the day Miami, Florida, and FSU should have to play each other every year. Tough schedules be damned.

This this this!!!

And i can't agree with this more. I love UF as much as any other UF fan, but the abscence of playing Miami (even if it's NOT yearly, but a few times 4 times a decade) or a notable P5 school on a yearly basis has and ALWAYS will tick me off. UGA is in the same pickle as us on a yearly basis but they beef up their OOC so there's NO excuse for UF to not do the same.
