UF at it again

It’s as much UF’s fault that a former player is charged with murder as it’s UM’s fault for KW being an accused rapist 🙄. I understand they’re our hated rivals but you guys take this **** too far sometimes

UF Athletic dept, Urban M., and the TPD covered up Aaron Hernandez shooting someone in the head on the streets of Gainesville.

They created an environment where murderers ran free. Of course it’s UF’s fault.

Go back to figuring out your class ranking, ****.

It's one thing when a single alum commits a violent act. It's quite another thing when crime after crime is committed by guys who played for Urban Meyer. It's not a coincidence that trouble follows that guy wherever he goes. He is there to win by any means possible.

There are porsters on here who were legit begging for the school to hire *** that lying convict-churning scumbag. He would leave the program in desolation with all the negative stereotypes and hysterical media coverage returning and the inmates running the asylum by the time his 'health' failed him again.

Urban Meyer turned a blind eye to everything at Florida during his run. This clown came into an early press conference talking about how he was going to recruit the top 1% of the top 1% and wouldn't settle for anything less.

Fast-forward a few years; over three dozen arrests on his watch for some pretty egregious behavior; domestic abuse, guys firing off AK-47s, assault, etc. His culture of protecting players like Aaron Hernandez was well-documented.

In the case of Joiner, he was the player who broke into a tow yard in 2007 to retrieve his car. At the time he was the eighth player in nine months to get arrested—this time for felony burglary. Joiner—a team captain—wound up only getting suspended for a half against LSU the following weekend. The Gators fell to the top-ranked Tigers, 28-24 in Baton Rouge.

Pretty hard not to partially blame Meyer's lack-of-accountability and enabling when you see how things turned out for a Hernandez or Joiner.

This article in the Orlando Sentinel lists all the Gators arrests during Meyer's tenure.
