UCLA going all in for Chip Kelly

Seems like a better fit for Kelly seeing as he has Pac 12 experience and Florida is dumpster fire.
 
He certainly in a prime negotiating position having two teams in an apparent bidding war for his services.
 
Great talent base to work with. It's not crazy. What was Oregon before they were Oregon? Granted, Bellotti created that, not Kelly.

The UCLA job is probably more attractive right now than UF. Let's face it, whoever takes the UF job better win at least 9 games with their garbage team or they'll be right on the hot seat. UCLA has a lot more room for error. They're not expecting miracles.
 
UCLA doesn't have to play Georgia, LSU and FSU each year. There is no pressure to win the way the Gaytors put on their coaches, right or wrong. UCLA is a basketball school. It has proximity to talent AND is a place where Chip can lay low and just coach ball. His system works on the West Coast. I think it's just a better fit. All he has to do is beat USC and he's good to go.

Easier to get talent to UCLA than to Florida. It’s enough players in LA to split with USC. I’d take UCLA if I was him.

That’s news to me. UCLA isn’t a football school and never has been. Florida is the better job, easily. I do think UCLA would be a better fit for Kelly, but to say it’s easier to get talent at UCLA than UF is crazy.

gotta love this board. sitting here with the #2 team in the country and all you guys can do is talk rumors about chip kelly.. is your life so small and your appreciation for the Canes so lost that you worship kelly??
