A lot of people don't understand this. The sport would literally become about 5-10 relevant teams and none else would ever be able to compete.

No. I don't think the players should be paid "legally" as the solution to this issue. The real solution is to investigate programs like Alabaga & Clem$on that allegedly commit fragrant violations repeatedly such as boosters handing out bag$ of cash to buy recruits (everybody knows). Those schools that have dominated CFB the last five years should get the most scrutiny. Journalists, the NCAA itself and the Feds should all be looking at this. Things have to change!

I do think all college athletes should get some weekly stipend as they do (in aggregate) bring a lot of revenue to the colleges they play for and they should be able to take a girlfriend out for dinner without worrying to much about money etc. That won't fix the recruiting violations as they are on a much larger scale (involve a lot more money). If the NCAA is to have any credibility at all, they should investigate the $EC. So should journalists.

We should ALL make this a movement. Do something on Social Media, call a journalist friend, email Yahoo sports about $EC recruiting violations (which pursued the U) etc. Let's make change happen! Among other things, what $EC schools and schools like Clem$on are doing hurts the Canes and lessens our chances of locking down the best South Fl talent. I'm tired of it. Let's make change happen! Let's help our Canes regain their throne!
