UCF Center Hit the Portal

As solid as our O-line has been, why can't we develop a center?
I was going to ask that question myself, especially since at Oregon, Mirabal initial role was more focused as IOL specialist (initial job at Oregon only had him listed as center/guards). Miami hasn't been able to recruit/develop a center since Mario and Mirabal arrived. Why? 3 straight portal centers, about to be a 4th.

Who cares. Idk what you’re guys obsession with this stuff us. Sometimes guys don’t pan out like you expect or take longer to develop.

You don't find it the teensiest bit odd that, as well as M&M have done with the OL and recruiting that we keep having to bring in portal guys?

We forgot - we're not allowed to ever question Mario/Mirabal when it comes to the OL. What were we thinking asking a legit question on a message board? Apologies.

I’ll just say in general I think this will be a good test for their actual coaching on how they replace guys like Coop and Cici.

But no… I think when you’re bringing in starters for 20 some positions that occasionally you’re going to miss on recruits on one or two of those positions. And honestly we have no idea how the staff feels about SJ or our other guys. It’s mostly this boards speculation that they feel he’s too small
