If you let go of the politics for one minute and do some third grade math, its VERY easy to see how many people have died of Covid-19 in the US. You only have to compare overall deaths to similar periods and make a couple of small tweaks. We are severely under-counting the amount of people that have died from it.

Take an average of the last five years and treat that number as if it's a precise figure. Brilliant.

BTW, the excess death theory they're trying to exploit has been espoused by Dr. Levitt of Stanford and suggests that FL will see a huge drop by the end of the month. The NYT just exploited it for fear ****.

it’s definitely being ovecounted but even Then the death rate is less than 1%. Hospitals and doctors have been misdiagnosing patients and deaths all year due to covid19. Misdiagnosis is common occurrence however it’s multiplied when the CDC tells you to purposely misdiagnose covid19 cases.

I attended an online funeral of a family friend yesterday who was diagnosed with Covid, got seriously ill and died. My wife’s cousin in the DR and uncle in the US, similarly tested positive for Covid, got sick and died. These are Covid deaths.

My ex mother in law just died of cancer - Not Covid. Not reported as Covid.

Isn’t the CDC located in Atlanta? After all of these years, are you really a sleeper CDC Secret Agent Man planted long ago by their Pandemic Misinformation Committee to sew misinformation on CIS?

Unless that’s just fake news and isn’t really happening. It seems like it would be simple enough to create another column with a count for “died WITH Covid “. Not sure if it’s money related or politics or both/neither. But if someone had the flu and was shot you wouldn’t count that as a flu death right?

You don't usually hear of the states reporting them incorrectly, usually the county. The hospital will suffer financial penalties multiple ways for falsely labeling patients just to make money, even more if they find a pattern. The county has no/minimal repercussions in an attempt to get a bigger share of state or federal money.

I don't know for certain, but I'd bet if you looked on the death certificate of the motorcycle victim, the primary diagnosis wouldn't be covid, regardless of what the county stated.

Thanks for the well wishes. I don’t follow this thing like those on the Covid board, which I try to avoid. How are they reporting deaths as Covid without a positive test and a correlating cause of death? That should be standard.

I don’t know but assuming some of it was not Covid-caused, if I had to guess, I’d guess that a much higher percentage of falsely reported Covid deaths occurred earlier on in the pandemic and that with more/better testing and understanding, that it’s become more accurate later on.
