UAB Game Moved, per Barry Jackson

Not to mention the bowl game and the opener, which both had extra prep time. Why don't you show me a list of wins after a longer prep time for Manny as our head coach and we can compare data?

Not defending Manny, but I think him being worse coming off byes is a coincidence and not anything particularly statistically meaningful.

A "bi-week"? Tell us about your experience with "bi-weeks"?
A "bye" in cricket is when there a wild pitch (to use a baseball term) and the runner comes in for a score.

So a bye week was when you got to advance in the playoffs without doing anything.

Then over the years it just evolved from a playoff term to any time you don't play a week.

Correctly, it is a bi-week because it happens after 2 weeks of waiting. Bi-weekly, similar to the term semi-monthly.

That is the most elaborate excuse for a typo that I have ever seen.

I'm guessing the game will be an ESPN Thursday night game. At least I hope so. And if not on ESPN. Then perhaps on CBSSN. Because they handle the games of the conference UAB is a member of. dUh.

Well as of today the only other game scheduled for that day is Charlotte at Duke. So I would think it would be an ESPN game.

I think this is a little silly, unless it’s the only way the game can be on TV.

The game will get higher attendance on Saturday than on Thursday. The higher Gentile attendance on Saturday would more than make up for the decreased attendance by ****** fans.

I mean, seriously. I’m not going to be willing to go to a football game after a long day at work on Thursday.

You've never been to a Thursday night football game?!? Or a concert? Or even a good party? Jesus, man, lots of people do lots of great sh-t on Thursday nights. You're really missing out.

If this means we go primetime on ESPN, I dig!
