If they have a clue, wouldn't that mean burying UAB? Or is another CMU type win good enough to convince you the staff has a clue?
 
We have a lot of changes on both sides of the ball and we haven't seen anything yet. I'll be happy if we win by 1 point and then have another week to get better.

Probably. But remember in 1983, we looked like dog schit against an average UF team. We didn't find the end zone until the next game against a not so good Houston team (we won only 14-7). Not a very promising start to a championship run.

Not that I expect that kind of run but the first game of the season, with significant new staff additions, is not a harbinger for the season. I'm trying to manage my expectations. I'm waiting to see what we do against Clemson. By then we will know.

I'm not certain how our LBs or Cbs are gonna be better. Think this will be an issue all year. Would be so great to have Rousseau as well to help us in the pass rush and disguise some of our CBs issues. I'm concerned we will be disappointed for the 15 or so straight year.

Said as if the defense was bad last year..

Any win is better than a loss but these are the types a games good teams win by a lot. Honestly this should be a three touchdown magint
 
How you play in games like these is a huge indicator if you’re a good team. We barely skate by, it’ll be another long season
 
Our last game we got shutout by Louisiana Tech. I do not assume this or any game this season will be easy. We need to prove it on the field. Its been almost 20 years since we were elite. I am not setting myself up again for a letdown again this year.
 
It looks like #4 (rb) & #5 (wr/pr) are there best 2 players on offense. Neither looks like a huge threat. Also their QB had some series time back there with soft coverage. Are defense should eat.

Anyone else think the announcer sounds like Tony Schivani from WCW Wrestling??
