Most of the key recruits who make up the University of Miami's 2016 recruiting class will be on the Coral Gables campus Sunday for U Day, a day-long series of events designed to cement or increase their bond with the Hurricanes.

The schedule of events for the day includes a presentation by strength coach Andreu Swasey, a presentation in the team meeting room, meetings with coaches, an offense/defense player panel, lunch, a life skills/branding session, watching practice, and finally a UDay House Party. The day for recruits runs from 9:30 a.m. till 7 p.m.

A few comments from those telling CaneSport they'll be on campus tomorrow:

Deon McIntosh: "They show me love, and I continue to talk to them to see where I fit in with the team. But I'm just waiting it out right now."

Zach Moss: "They say they're ready for me to get down there, are ready for the season to get over with so they can get me down there and get me trained up, in that orange and green."

Tyler Byrd: "I've been talking to Miami coaches pretty regularly. Coach Paul (Williams), coach D (Mark D'Onofrio), coach (Larry) Scott and coach (Al) Golden always message me on Twitter. They ask how's the family, how is everything with me. ... I'm pretty solid to Miami."

CaneSport has confirmed that the following players will be among the attendees:

Jack Allison
Dionte Mullins
Cedrick wright
Zach Moss
Travis Homer
Joe Jackson
Dione Mcintosh
Evan Hinson
Michael Irvin Jr.

Sam Bruce
Eddy Pineiro
Josh Uche
Jaquan Nelson
Shay Quaterman
Mike Pinckney

Also expected in attendance with Quarterman is his 2017 teammate Nick Roberts, who has indicated he may commit if all goes well on campus.

t-mus 30 seconds until the losers come in saying none of them will be a hurricane and they all decommit. what's the point of this forum with all the negativity?

The only thing I don't like about U Day is that we never seem to get big-time recruits out to these events. Its just 80% of our commits, some under the radar kids, and some unknowns. Whenever FSU or UF have their recruiting camps they're able to pull in multiple 4 and 5* for visits, why can't we?

Pineiro would be huge if we could flip him from Bama. Hopefully we can Patrick Bethel to commit.

Zach mccloud told ESPN he was coming...
@HamiltonESPN: #ESPN300 LB & #Canes verbal Chief__20 says he will be visiting #Miami Sunday. http://t.co/wptaJTWg76

NO MCCLOUD???

Where there's smoke there's fire. A lot of talk has been saying that he's feeling Auburn and FSU right now. Then again, he probably just couldn't make it.

what smoke loser? he's going to be there. keep spreading the negativity. cancer.

I posted that before the Twitter post. Calm down.

I'm the exact opposite of a cancer; I want the team the do great but when I see things that are concerning I will call it out. Speaking of which,

From Luke Stampini at the South Florida High School Media Day:
"Photographer asks LB Zach McCloud, "Committed to Miami?"

McCloud replies, "Right now."

I wouldn't trust Stampini but I do feel concern about McCloud now

Does David Lake actually do anything?

Why? Really. It's called 10 years of mediocre football and a University that has struck out completely with its last 2 HC hires...
