What do you guys think about Tyson Helton as the QB coach /OC? That offense has receivers wide open and the QB puts up big yardage

Miami's best bet is the keep coley as offensive coordinator/ recruiting coordinator since he WONT be calling plays richt will, hire ken Dorsey as oc so he can learn what it takes to be a coordinator without calling plays, or hire Byron McClendon as "oc"

Hard to believe anybody wants to keep Coley around, especially as OC! My man Coley should be in HS, he's not D-1 caliber.

The next DC will be the ILB coach and some one has the skill sets to coach the whole team if necessary. ..experienced.. and will get the big money... 1 mil plus. OC 600 thousand Maybe..

If Mark is calling plays and coaching QBs then OC is not that big an issue. If Coley will stay without play calling then we keep QB talent spotting skills. At the same time, Ken as OC learning more under Mark could be winner idea. He progressing and maybe picks up a HC job somewhere and can return to replace Mark do the road. That assumes he shows HC skills.

Anyone specific in mind?
I wouldn't be surprised if the next OC will be the O Line Coach...Richt and his son..son holding the title as QB Coach will coach the QBs.

So, Scott as OL/OC, Richt Jr. as QB coach? Or someone outside for OC?

Gonna throw out a guess based on nothing - Kevin Steele.

Based on that salary suggested and specificity of the position he'll coach, that's a legit guess!
He's making $1MM at LSU, and has a buyout of 20% of his salary. With Miles being on shaky ground, Steele might want to go someplace with a more stable situation to finish his career. He's experienced with the ACC and SEC ...
Of course, he's also the DC who gave up 70 points in a bowl game to WVU and Dana Holgorsen, where he (literally) couldn't stop 1 play the entire game ...
