I could make an argeument that he is actually worse than Dallas Crawford because at least Dallas plays good special teams.

Every time I see Tyriq on the field he is making mistake after mistake. It wasn't just FSU it's been like this his whole career here. He is simply not a good football player and lacks football IQ.

THe one play that he was IN vs FSU was the biggest fck up I've ever seen.

The big run by Dalvin in the 4th.

No one is blocking Mccord. He is in perfect position to make a tackel for zero gain. INstead he runs into the lineman that is blocking NOrton and doesn't even attempt to do anything. He should never see the field after this.

THe next play, they run the same exact play but Grace is in. Grace whiffs on the tackle, then Jenkins is so far out of position Dalvin runs by him.

you gotta remember he is taught to hold blocks.... He should be going after the quarterback nothing else but Al golden thinking has him doing this.

He is 100% playing out of position....its sad what they are doing to these kids.

I don't blame him for anything. He showed great potential as a freshman DE and now these idiots have switched him to a position where he doesnt have an opportunity to do what he does best. some NFL team will switch him back and he will ball, just like everyone else.

But seriously, can you tell me what he's doing in that play. He's in PERFECT position to make a play but he runs into Kendrick NOrton.

NO one is blocking him.

Instead Dalvin runs it for 30.

That's what happens when you take high school kids and don't allow them to hit and practice tacking because you have a concussion paranoia. You have to hit and hit some more throughout all practices.

MCord is playing LB now because Golden is a f**king loser who can't recruit LB's.

McCord is a 4-3 DE all day. The kid will play with his hand down in the NFL guaranteed...11 career sacks and Golden makes him a stand up OLB. Its comical.

You are a full on ****** or a troll.

The guy is being asked to do something that he is not suited for - square peg round hole. He's either setting edges or covering the flats - 2 things he is not really made for.

It can be both. He is playing out of position and he made a terrible play there. We all know the corches are worst of the worst and they ***** everything up. That goes without saying. But he plays football in college...should do better than that. Same with Grace on the next play. Gotta make that tackle.

Amazing isnt it? McCord was the toast of the town two years ago. Esp after he bodyslammed that Gtech QB. He looked great as a rush DE. Now all of a sudden hes a bum who was never good and we should bench him?...If this isnt a complete indictment on the coaching staff regarding ruining this kids college careers I dont know what is. He should have went to USCe. He would have been a terror opposite Clowney.

coaching sucks...but coaching is not the reason tyriq is not better. He's just not good. Good coaching would make him an average player.

Herb Waters is a better case for what you're talking about.

Tyriq has one really good skill. Speed rush around the edge. Using him in any other way is doing him and the program a disservice. If he had gone to South Carolina or Florida he'd probably have 20-25 career sacks at this point and we'd all be asking why we missed him.
