2026 Tyran Evans, WR - William Amos Hough HS (Charlotte, NC) offered - Pre-Commit Thread

Evans is rising. Continues to climb rankings. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish in the 200-250 range. He should still be our 3rd best in this class minimum though

I say KB stays depending on this yr WR production. You people's are looking at it wrong. When was the last time Miami produced a first round receiver. Been awhile. I think the receivers have a good yr and KB gets one more yr to land a top reciever. Some of you all are so unrealistic. It's pathetic.
 
The collective CIS flipping on Beard is hilarious to watch, b4 recruiting szn ramped up I saw mostly praise , there were even threads about not wanting to lose him when rumors of him bouncing started to emerge, now all of a sudden everybody wants him gone :ROFLMAO: ..not saying we shouldnt upgrade but its just funny lol

I’m tired of hearing the same played out last 20yr excuse. At some point someone has to land some WR. It has to start at some point unless Miami and the collective aren’t willing to pay for a top WR. Not sure how funds are being allocated but Miami needs to do better

What excuse. We haven't done Sh@t 20 yrs. That's no excuse those are facts. I don't know what's going on. The guy can develope players. From my stand point he gets one more yr. We win they come. He's recruited pretty good from what we got. This yr will tell if he stays or goes.

Why yall expect Miami to just start magically landing all these 5 stars @ WR is beyond me , how about we start getting the guys we have drafted there’s some good NFL talent in that room right now as we speak ..imagine being a 5star WR and the all coach can point to at WR is Stacey coley and Phillip Dorsett 😂😂😂😂

KB can't recruit? Toney, Josh Moore, and JoJo Trader were some of the most highly coveted players in the country. Ny Carr was HIGHLY regarded. Is everything based on not landing Jeremiah Smith?

Apparently its 5star or bust for a program whos last 1st rounder at the POSition was a decade ago..Jojo & Baby jesus will go a long way in Changing the narrative for Miami and elite SFL receivers. Mark my words.

Too many dopey takes on this subject, for which 90% of the posters have no idea.

There's only one person whose opinion matters, and he has flipped on Beard.

Nothing else matters. Not one single poster's opinion on Beard makes any difference as to him coaching at Miami beyond 2025.

We haven’t landed a top 10 WR since mark pope in 2018 based off 247 position rankings. Jojo was #14.

I don’t doubt he’s on his way out, I’m just saying the overall sentiment towards him on this board was fairly positive 4-5 months ago, just goes to show the power of crootin cause the WR play has actually been solid under him IMO
