We debating Richardson in a Tyler Williams thread? Kid had a good game against good comp, his passing has always been behind his legs but he looked more competent than before. We’ll see how he does if he’s in a straight up passing play and the defense isn’t off from play action

TrumpyCane wants to know since when does less than 300 total yards constitute a good game by a QB

That’s what I’m saying. The nfl offensive schemes have evolved. Yes coaches are more creative but players still have to be further along as passers than Richardson is now. I just don’t see him leaving after the season. I don’t put much stock into mock drafts. I have seen guys come out of no where and ended up being 1st round picks. I also saw guys get hyped up only to go undrafted. I guess we’ll have to see with Richardson. I think he’s talented but I don’t see him as a top 5 prospect right now.

Gata hate aside, how is that an NFL quarterback - let alone the 2d or 3d qb taken in the draft?

If I'm betting on it - I say he ends up closer to Taysom Hill than Cam Newton.

If he was to leave now he would be a Taysom Hill. I don’t see it this year. We always see these hyped preseason lists. As a poster stated, we saw it with Kaaya. Man, we saw it with Cardale Jones after Ohio State won the MNC in 2015.

What is wrong with you? Obviously, he had a 45 yard run, so every other play in the game, all the crappy runs, all the dink-and-dunk passes, look better with the halo effect of Richardson's ONE GOOD PLAY.
