You can make an argument to keep McIntosh. He's walking a fine line, but I'd think about keeping him if he has a strong summer.

JY and Berrios will also make significant contributions this year as well

JY has no business playing for a team that intends to compete for championships. He's already carrying the jockstraps of HS kids who are getting ready to finger-bang their prom dates.

Sam will take Berrios's lunch money. No need for upperclassmen who get beat out by freshmens. You're simply delaying the inevitable by keeping guys like that around.

You can't just purge your roster! You have to do it gradually because you still need 2nd/3rd stringers to practice, special teams, catastrophic injuries etc.

On the field, that list hasn't done much.

Having said that, some still have plenty of time and I'm sure as heck not going to just write all of them off when they were coached by the last set of incompetents.

I always find it interesting how people can speak so emphatically about what player should go or stay. There's only so many starting roster spots and then however many that see action as a backup. Players still contribute in other ways and some of the players who aren't stars can.sometimes be leaders in other aspects within the team structure.

Top all of that off with people *****ing how Saban and others are ******** for trimming the fat or oversigning, it makes no sense. I have no problem with how coaches handle their roster. They're paid to do a job and can do it the way they want.

It sucks for the players on the bottom of the roster enough as it is, they came in with hopes and dreams aplenty. They don't need some jackass on an internet message board telling to get out of dodge or they're a waste of a scholarship. They know their status and they know they had the opportunity most dream of but never did.

Maybe we should start a list of who should be kicked off canesinsight for the better. Some of the guys listed on this list is just f_cking stupid..... Rozier, JY, mcintosh, patchan, berrios, Lewis....? Come on now. And people are sleep on Henley he has been making strides as well as Robert knowles

He's a senior so it would never happen, but Lewis adds nothing of value. I agree the others are ridiculous.

You are kidding? Berrios was incredible during Soring game. Juwon Young and Gordinier played very well as backups. Gabriel is starting long snapper.

No, I like Mcintosh and Young and Berrios. The rest can hit the trail
