Tyler Dunning is a former UM recruit out of St. Thomas Aquinas that has spent the past two seasons at Mississippi State and has entered his name into the transfer portal. Being that we are thin at the LB position, should we pursue this kid?
Yea. We actually should

He’d have to sit out 2019 when he’d be needed for depth so what’s the point? Rather stack three 2020 linebackers on the solid 2 we got last class. Also 2021 linebacker class should be elite if we hit in one or two top targets (Terrence Lewis, Tyler Johnson and Lil Jennings)

manny wont pursue kids just to fill spots. We will try and add 1-2 via portal but we wont add them unless they will get burn.

Which is why i don't understand the posters calling for a backup LB for this season.

Gotta go after guys that are graduate transfers only. No need to get guys that can’t play till 2 years from now because you can just recruit a dude and develop him and you get pretty much the same thing but younger and homegrown.
