With all due respect to Shadow who I'm sure is a good guy, his board was never really that
good.
In fact, I thought it was garbage.
For starters, you had the ascot-wearing-golf-clapping crowd who would not tolerate folks pointing out
the many reasons why f$u and uf!aggot were detestable and you couldn't criticize a prospect for signing
with them. It was all about being classy and providing healthy golf claps to Fishbein and other foreigners
who posted on that site.
The place was a vomitorium, and some of the inhabitants on that site post here (guess who they are!).

there's only a few good posters left in that place. shadow, elite80, mfcanes, teamU, sub150.

everyone else are golden slurpers.
 
I was on Shadows board along with grassy at the time. Just never really picked up steam. Seemed more for the casual fan checking in every few weeks, not for those who like talking about miami several times a week
 
Naples High rarely sends kids to Miami. I can think of only one of their top players that came here recently. (Think it was Spenser Adkins, but I'm not sure.) Those kids, if they aren't Gaturd locks by their senior years, it's because Nick or Urbie wants them or they go to some other $EC school. Byrd is a Vol.

Just don't think their coaches like UM very much. Thought that might change with Richt, but evidently it isn't happening. Strong program. Sucks we can't get a real foothold there.

You must've missed the part where Byrd's coaches raved about the new staff and how much attention they gave Byrd.
 
This kid has been commited for almost 2 years and 4 days ago was talking about thrbu this and the u that in less than 5 days he changes all that. Well ****

This is silly. Urban wasn't the one who landed Carlos Hyde, a kid from Cincinnati who moved to Naples. Most everyone thought he was a FB. Who are you suggesting we've been missing out on from NHS?

I have that same feeling. I've had it the whole time. For some reason the visit to TN, regardless of rating in a 10 or what.. idc. I just think "cane" every time I see this kid.

Could be wrong. But, I'm not worried for whatever reason.

byrd is gonna be a cane. he took visit for his freind. 10/10 means nothing. nothing. byrd has reasons to stay home and go to miami his mom and gf are 2 .

people on here need to grow a pair and stop being so cynical, this staff is very good at recruiting.

I can't stand you as a poster, besides that though....when were you on there?

The beauty of Shadow's board when I was there was the diversity of posters. While it was probably seventy percent us, the rest were mostly FSU/UF with some other schools fans mixed in. The conversation was football and while it would occasionally get testy between posters, generally it was respectful. It was very unique in that sense and the childish middle school antics were left at the door. I imagine that wouldn't sit well with you, do-it-yourself can see why you have the opinion you do.

The added bonus was you did have Bluestien, Fish, and Laus talking about kids coming up then hitting the recruiting world. I pretty much left the board when Laus passed far too early and unexpectedly. Good guy who I still miss.
