Didn’t want MJC anyways this guy was my #1 always!!!!

Goofy, look through this thread. I’ve been a fan of Keys the whole time while other guys thought Kimble or Robinson or whoever else was better.

He’s not a consolation prize although MJC was obviously the bigger talent.

My post is just tongue in cheek lol I like Keys as well.

We positioned ourselves to get both as we rightfully should have. The past two cycles we’ve positioned ourselves to get two legit RBs and have failed twice in a row. We may get two RBs this cycle but the second one (if it’s Lacey for example) likely wont be on the same talent plane as Keys and MJC.

Which will bring a transfer rb into the picture. 1 last cycle with Marty, none this cycle, more than likely 1 next cycle. I’m ok with that.

I think it’s a little different this cycle because we didn’t have the 4 unique backs — Lyle, Mallory, Pringle, and Marty — the previous cycle when Martinez was graduating.

We really only had Lyle and Fletcher; with Pringle being an incoming freshman and CWH not having enough opportunity for us to know. Ajay Allen was leaving as well.

We really shouldn’t need a transfer unless somebody transfers.

You see our RB room?

There's things that upset me at times about our recruiting just like any fan, but it's pure comedy how a couple people have to be the "I told you so guy, just in case we miss out on players (Which we are always going to)"

With the current way of doing things, I’d expect someone to always transfer. This year seemed like an outlier. Think we were all shocked no one left.
 
I’d be shocked if we don’t have a departure after this next year. Pringle had a foot out the door and looked like Lyle was as well with the emergence of Pringle and Marty. Only so many carries to go around. Fletch will be gone but the emergence of Mallory somebody is gonna hit the bricks.
 
Hopefully Mallory is that dude cause the RB's sheeeesh, this dude looks like a decent back. I dont trust Lyle I have low hopes for him and Pringle dynamic as **** too small imo PAUSE. Its stacked on names though, Fletch is a dog and Brown is good too. We needed to load up here imo
 
Keys is a great back for this class. Mallory will be a better RB than Cooper. Now LB is a different story. We all definitely wanted MJC because almost no one has that size, speed combo, ever. Still, no RB is worth that amount of money. I am guessing Brown, Hellcat and Pringle all transfer with Fletcher hitting the draft.
