Ty Simpson (is not yet in the portal)

Smells like Trubisky and Lance
I don’t think ANY team is taking a QB w 15 starts in first round
Or second!
Dude gonna get a 3rd round grade
He’s stupid if he doesn’t want to come to Miami and play behind a wall
Throwing to Toney and studs and building his experience level and draft status
Yeah a year at Miami could push him to 1st overall

6.5 million is no joke

It’s not enough to get a first rounder to stay all the time but it’s getting close to that point
I agree…seems like the only thing holding him back is the how he will viewed if he leaves Alabama. If ‘Bama offered him that bread he’d be back over there but they are ready to move on

When it's all said and don he should arguably be first overall this year. This kid can do everything Mendoza can and more.

I'm the Raiders I pick this kid before Mendoza.

I don’t think any of the QBs drafted this year are going to amount to ****. This is an all time bad QB class.

Incredible that Moore would even consider coming back. If he does, he’s even more of a head case than I thought.

He comes back and he’s *immediately* behind CJ Carr and potentially Arch as well in next years draft.

There’s been several QBs that didn’t have first round grades that still went in the first round. Teams will reach because QB is such a premium position.

Ryan Tannehill went 9th.
Oh, I understand teams will reach, and especially for quarterbacks.

My point is few college quarterbacks with such limited starting experience succeed in the NFL as starting quarterbacks.

Moore has done nothing imo to say he a day one pick. Especially last game.
I didn’t understand all the talk of him being better than Mendoza the whole season. The kid has played a ton of football but he still isn’t ready yet.

Moore played better against PSU than Mendoza but far worse against Wisconsin and Iowa than Mendoza. Oregon has a ton of talent around Moore & he had a year to learn the system behind Gabriel. He wasn’t even as good as Gabriel last year.

I don’t think he leaves

He shouldn’t leave unless the NFL itself projects him as a mid-high first round pick.

I could see why Mario would wait, and I could also see why Simpson would go pro.

May not have the starts but he's arguably the best of this class.

I keep seeing he wants his legacy to be tied to Alabama. What ******* legacy? He started 1 season. And by most accounts didnt meet expectations in that 1 year.
Lmao I feel this but that’s just what the reports have been saying. & what he said himself.
:fish:

“Several teams chasing a shrinking pool of elite quarterbacks, combined with the pressure to field a CFP contender, could drive up the price for certain players who have yet to transfer and/or are considering the NFL Draft and are seen as transformative,” said attorney Darren Heitner, who has been involved in over 25 player contracts this cycle. “It’s basic economics where leverage meets scarcity.”
:unsure::greedy-dollars::rugby:
Also, all indications are that Simpson cares about his legacy at Alabama, where he stayed and waited for four years to become a starter. Look no further than his NFL draft declaration video.
:roll-canes2:
“I’m proud to be a part of this legacy, to have chosen to be where my feet are, to have learned you can’t be anybody but yourself and to strive to be the best version of yourself every single day,” Simpson said in a video he released on his Instagram.

:ibis-roflmao-sm3:
“There was temptation along the way, temptation to find an easier path. But when you choose Alabama football, there’s a responsibility and a pride that comes with it. It’s something you feel deep down. It’s not a choice to stay at Alabama. You just are Alabama, or you’re not.
