If sorsby says no pivoting to Simpson needs to be made quick and lock it in. I’m sure he’s not taking a discount to come here
 
Why is Simpson being linked?

Do they have a noodle armed, 6', good ol' country boy backup pushing him out like they did with Beck at Georgia?
 
I would prefer a QB who has played in a better conference like Sorsby. I mean at least Bailey played Miami so we know what he can and can't do against good defenses.

We need to pull him from Bama. Temper if we have to. He's better than all the QBs in the portal. I wanted Bailey but he's better than Bailey too.

Simpson was hanging on by a thread the time the SEC CG.

Behind our OL, with the weapons we do have (and will have), he'd be a first round pick.
 
Wouldn’t be surprised if both Simpson and Mack left. Keelon Russell was handpicked by Deboer. The plan was for Simpson to go pro after this year and that’s not happening. He’s been an SEC homer his whole life but things are different now. He’s got one shot. I’m not worried about “cultural fit”. Dude is a grinder and balls. He’ll be just fine here

They were part of his original recruitment, so wouldn’t say no ties. I don’t see him not going to a sec school. These are opinions out of my a$$ so mileage may vary
 
His mom was my teacher in elementary in Tennessee. She was hotter than **** back in the day. Some of my first boners were to her. This is fate boys.
