hmmm...lots of off conversations yet none discuss or address my 2 points. TVD blaming attendance and the cupboard being bare. As I recall most posters here expected Mario's coaching staff would lead us to a great season. I'm not suggesting Manny should still be here simply pointing out the FACT that we have talent, talent that failed Manny and are failing even worse under Mario.
Bum Phillips when asked about Don Shula said "he can takes his and beat yours or yours and beat his". An 8 million dollar coach should be able to do that not lose to MTSU AT HOME! At least Manny was a first time HC, Mario is experienced and without a doubt the CIS members majority expected far, far better than what we've seen. So be honest and pray this has been a learning year with a better future. I've seen the U at its worse and at its best since the 60's and never expected this after Herbstreit did his rant and the U reacted in a positive way that has backfired so far.
