For me losing Jobe really wouldn’t be that big of a deal if it wasn’t for all the posting about Sean Taylor. I understand de commits happen and it’s not like we losing Jobe to a weak school like UCLA or some ****. It’s bama, this is clearly about making it to the NFL with saban as the expert DB coach. IMO he would have just a good of chance making it to the league at Miami but I guess he don’t see it that way. But when you start posting the stuff about Sean Taylor that takes it a little to far in my opinion.

I know most on this board will say he’s a good coach. If Rumph whiffs on Jobe, Samuels, Campbell, and Surtain then he’s a MASSIVE failure as a recruiter. He needs to be replaced or the 10th coaching spot has to go to a Stud recruiter. There’s no excuse with the type of success and hype UM has had for only Ivey (albeit he maybe underrated) and Blades to be the top CBs in this class. You add in that Rumph coached 2 of these kids and it magnifies the problem.
The staff is crazy if they aren’t recruiting Wilson with who we have committed. They better know a lot of somethings we don’t. UM needs at least 3 press corners for this defense to be elite. Only landing 1 of the top 6 CBs in South FL is unacceptable. Add in the fact the only one is a legacy lock.
We’ll see what happens. It’s still way early to start calling for heads. However, there’s definitely reasons to be concerned if Jobe flips. This has to be the easiest year for UM coaches to recruit probably ever. FSU and UF both have new staffs, we have brand new facilities, and the God**** Turnover Chain!!!

That still doesn’t mean the staff hasn’t whiffed big time if they don’t land 2 more of these studs. I didn’t know Banda was heading Jobe’s recruitment. Who’s heading the recruitment of Samuels, Surtain, and Campbell?

It's a consensus that the top CB's in South FL are Samuels, Campbell and Surtain. None are committed to UM. We aren't winning an NC losing out on the top 3 CB's in the state of Miami.
Pete and everyone here can talk up Ivey all they want. He's a consensus 3 star and doesn't have an offer from a top 25 team per rivals.

If he was just an average "consensus three star" I wouldn't have expected Antrel Rolle to personally work out with him.

I didn’t know Cox went to a private school in Columbus and was repping the home town team for 2 years. I also didn’t know that cox spent a whole day with his parents and osu in the admissions department trying to make sure he was eligible. I also didn’t know that Cox kept sending edits about a late And great player that he was trying to emulate and honor.
Sorry for not following national recruiting. I thought Cox was from GA.
