Mentioned these to Canes Connection members last week, but wanted to bring them here now that it's public: S Jett Washington and ATH Lekhy Thompkins.

Jett Washington is a 6'5, 200-pound five star safety from Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas. He's committed to Oregon. Miami has ties there and are working. Obviously a huge name and uphill battle, but there is communication and they are taking a shot. Momentum on the field could be big here. He's an elite player.

Lekhy Thompkins is a t6'1, 235-pound hree-star Louisville commit from Franklin, Tennessee. He just moved to IMG and picked up a Miami offer. He's a productive running back but projects even better on defense (see clips in latter half of his highlight reel). He also plays basketball. Nothing imminent but a name to monitor.

@DMoney That Thompkins dude reminds me of a LBer I posted about that committed to Syracuse. I think his name was Marlowe Wax.

So we're probably trying to flip one of Jett or Fitzpatrick for safety? I mean I'd love it...

But I have higher hopes (and we have a proven record) of flipping a couple top DLineman...

Jett Washington is Kobe’s nephew I think. Oregon probably pushing the Nike angle heavy and we’re an adidas school. Not sure what kinda shot we have there if any at all.
yes hes kobes nephew.

Kobe sisters son.

Hes a beast and i was shocked we took so long to recruit him while recruiting a ton of other safety prospects especially since Bishop Gorman is somewhat a pipeline school for us.

Lekhy Thompkins looks like whatever it is they are going to do with Mohammad Toure. I would actually sell him on defense but the ability to get short yardage carries and show him DJ Williams while here. Im all in on flipping him from Louisville as a LB Recruit. But sell him on being a two way player..**** we dont have a FB on roster other than Lofton basically.

I don't mind leaving the kid at RB honestly.

he want some fear of god stuff boy

Bro ain’t nobody fckin w Adidas x Fear of God, bruh. It’s been a massive flop thus far, & that’s what Adidas’ asses gets for constantly trying to poach Nike employees & collaborators expecting to hit gold. They’ve been doing this since the Sonny Vaccaro days.

The unis were met w/ poor reviews, & u can currently find his athletic shoes on hella discount b/c they r uncomfortable af. Meanwhile Nike x Fear of God has doubled in resale value.

& if u don’t believe me that its been a flop, I’ll attach the link to their athletic site & u let me know what u find:
