Two concerns about Applewhite

Realus George got to be blown right now. Went from Richt saying he would be a focal point of the offense in a power run game to a spread offense. He can catch and run may have to loose weight to become goal line back.

He's screwed lol.

You cannot assume that.. jesus so a person who makes a mistake at one job will make it at the next stop. Are you ******* perfect?

Not sayin he has to be perfect, but c'mon, 1 iota of research and he would have known not to hire coach NO D. It's worrying that he didnt even do that.

I’ve watched this guy coach for years and I just don’t see it. Saban fired him as his OC, he was just fired as HC at Houston, and I saw nothing cutting edge in his tenure at Houston as OC that gave defenses nightmares. His offenses were actually pedestrian compared to what you see in Big 12 country (they’re AAC but are in the heart of Big 12 ball)

Manny is great at coach speak and I think this hire is going to bite him in the rear. He could’ve done much, much better than Applewhite.

I was thinking the same thing

There's nothing cutting edge in that it's new. It is an up to date offense that uses spread, tempo, and rpo to stress defenses. Herman runs the same type of offense. Do you think Herman's offense is cutting edge? He is just applying concepts from Meyers offense. It's been around.
