Jacorey Brooks-WR BTW
Has the height already and will be even taller.
Ran his first HS track meet (freshman) at Dade Youth Fair Meet March 17, 2018 and posted a very respectable 200m-23.11 and a long jump of 19-8

Has a compact powerful build already- listed at 5-8/186
Ran an excellent for the age 11.02--100m at the Same Burley Meet March 2/3, 2018 as a freshman

Must get the best in Dade! Every time I think about how some local top talent are actually "seriously" considering other schools with The U in your back yard, just really frustrates me.
 
Some kids just don't want to stay home. Some kids have moms and dads who grew up loving FSU and UF. Some kids have crappy grades and just say they don't want to come here. And some kids aren't what we want off the field.

Thats ok.

At this point with CMR at the helm I think 8 or 9 out of 10 times we hand pick the local kid we want and he signs here. Not going to worry about the one or two that don't.

Exactly! I don't know why the local doodoo birds don't understand that. Some kids want to venture out and go somewhere else. Why is that so hard to understand. Jesus it's like the local slow kids now are parents and can't comprehend someone actually wanting to go somewhere else.

Exactly what we should be doing. Showing our interest at an early stage.

It doesn’t guarantee anything, but at least he closes the door on any negative feelings about not paying attention until later in the game.

That's a special run right there...to turn that corner and stay in bounds WHILE accelerating upfield.
