Exactly. He put a bullseye on his back as a highly-touted high school quarterback on a popular Netflix series. Toss in going to Ohio State—the most-hated, annoying fan base on the planet—and then leaving there for hated Miami ... this ****y kid was going to 1000% get roasted the minute he didn't win the starting job.

All that to say, I think he can handle the hate. Delete Twitter from the phone for football season and focus on competing. He'll get his cracks. Williams still has to prove it. Position is hardly locked down.

That’s what everyone does for every highly rated recruit, EVERY fan base. Just like UF is sucking off Cox when he transferred in, yet he hasnt done anything in college. But now it’s wrong?

It’s obvious to anyone with a brain why Tate is/was always hated on by half the fan base when he got here.

Dude was 47-0 in high school and player of the year and won some huge games. You have no clue what your talking about. He lost the QB comp which is fair but to act like he’s some scrub they picked up off the street is ridiculous.

Mostly because politics forces people to see things through the prism of an agenda defined by a party instead of actual facts.

So tf what? Almost every starter on that team went D1. If he didn't win 47 games hed be a fuqin trash heap. I have no clue what im talking about? How can you substantiate that claim?

All 4 and 5 star QBs have great high school accolades. IT doesn't make them a great college QB just like being a great college QB doesn't translate to the NFL.

To think that the guy was going to come here, take the job, and win a ship all based upon his high school stats is asinine at best. yet, i have no clue what im talking about?

BTW, not to sure he aint just a scrub when it comes to playing QB.
