Doesn't surprise me in the least....Unconscionable that this program is where it's at for 17+ yrs....Absolutely No excuses for this level of incompetence...
Almost as if it were planned......

And I'll do it for cheap. They should hire you!
Yep...Bainbridge, Ga funneling more money to Athens, GA than Biden is to China. Kirby learned from the best. You better believe that. He’s a clown that’s got more resources than you could possibly imagine. He’s also spending money like the progressive liberal democrats. I could coach them to the playoffs. Literally the only program cheating at the level of Alabama and the New England Patriots. He is a good coach fwiw the scumbags most always are. Every time I see him on the golf course, I throw up a little in my mouth.
thing is if they put a decent product on the field or the court we would fill up the stadiums or the arenas and not only would you have more money flowing from ticket sales and apparel sales etc. you would have additional people willing to donate to keep that product competitive above and beyond the few large donors we already haveThe problem is that anyone like that would need iron-clad promises that the money would flow. I’m sure when Kirby went to UGA he said “this is how it works, this is what it costs. If you’re ready to pay, I’ll take this job”. So I think administration has to make an up front promise to spend like the big boys.
The real problem is that bama has money just sitting around so they are always thinking of new ways to spend it. Until you can pry the money lose, we won’t compete.
because Manny is too busy trying to be their friends as opposed to having a practice that may make them actually sweat and get better.I don't understand why a HC would not have challenging difficult practices. It seems clear to me that it is a 100% way to guarantee you will ultimately fail as a HC.
They call their plays in Russian and Chinese.Yep...Bainbridge, Ga funneling more money to Athens, GA than Biden is to China. Kirby learned from the best. You better believe that.
So Miami is going to now throw money at a situation that can’t be fixed by just throwing money at it. That’s about rightI eluded to some of this **** a long time ago and I got ripped a new one by the slurpers.
I've been around Miami and I've been around other programs. Even UCF has their **** together more than Miami does.
One thing they fail miserably at is creating relationships and making local guys feel like they're a part of The U.
I spoke about the experience I had with Manny versus the experience I had with Heupel's staff and I got accused of "needing attention".
But it's not just me. Local HS media guys have the same experience with Miami's staff. Guys who actually have knowledge of countless prospects and even a little pull down here. Guys like The Crib Media, Gold Feet, The Sack Sensei, etc. They will all tell you how poorly Miami communicates and how Manny tries to "big time" everybody. (like he's above communicating with them) This has been my experience with Miami as well as many other local guys.
There's so much more I can say but I'd rather not.
The whole operation is amateur hour, from play-calling to resources to recruiting to relationships.
But this is what happens when your HC and most of your support staff come from high school or garbage universities. (this doesn't apply to some of the new staff obviously)
Absolutely.Been saying this for a while, the Dade guys we end up with are often still available for a reason - better programs are better judges of talent, identify the flaws and look at coachability. YA decade ago we had seven players from one Miami school who had all been in a behavioral unit in HS. You bring those type guys in, you better have some structure and a culture with team leaders and accountability, otherwise those kids will never develop. A couple ended up being pretty good players, most didn't succeed. Classes roll into a "do-the-minimum" culture yet still get to strut the brand, and you get decades of slacking off, underachievement and a culture that will take years to fix. Its embarrassing to hear over and over how Miami has better talent than the team waxing us.
There is a budget for a few Coach Machos representing the local scene. I know if I was a head coach at the U, I would have a few minutes a week to connect with Macho and pick his brain, talk local, and put him to work. Enough with the amateur hour ****. Somebody here, get this done. And I'll do it for cheap.
A monthly stipend of chicken wings and Latinas.

Hey, you're preaching to the choir on that score, but the university doesn't seem to see it that way. For whatever reason, they've chosen not to make the up-front investment in football. I'm just pointing out that they would have to have a significant change of heart.thing is if they put a decent product on the field or the court we would fill up the stadiums or the arenas and not only would you have more money flowing from ticket sales and apparel sales etc. you would have additional people willing to donate to keep that product competitive above and beyond the few large donors we already have
just think if you could put an extra 25,000 fans in the stands for football and had just 10,000 of those fans willing to donate just 100 bucks to the program and figuring the 25,000 extra fans spent 100 bucks per game for tickets , food, beer etc you're talking about 3-5 million dollars extra a year and that's basing things on minimal numbers.
Add in the boosters that already donate that will add an extra 10% to their donations that they already give and you're talking 5-10 million dollars just by putting a decent product out there And your not even including extra money that would come from basketball or baseball because those teams were decent.
NOBODY wants to continually give to a program that is ****** every year and that's ANYWHERE not just Miami.
Fix the product and the money will flow.
How much can we pay u to keep talking? Macho go fund me! I love hearing confirmation of the amateur hour that is running the ship, but the slurpers still clinging to Mandingo saving his job also need to hear why he needs to go (cause for some reason they are blind to it watching the games)I eluded to some of this **** a long time ago and I got ripped a new one by the slurpers.

He didn’t lose his job he just got out of thereBut he transferred to Georgia because he lost his job at Miami.
He lost his job.He didn’t lose his job he just got out of there
Pope Wiggins Harley wasn’t taking his job
He probably grad transferred to get an extra year and raise his stock

Might have had something to do w the QBsHe lost his job.
You don’t get an extra year by grad transferring. You can just play immediately without sitting out a year.He didn’t lose his job he just got out of there

fair point. My issue with Cager is he was all talk. Never accepted any responsibility for having stone hands. He had 2 good games for UGA at a time they were very thin at WR. He needed to step up and he did. Then he got hurt and never played.Might have had something to do w the QBs
