TVD Vs Maye Vs Mertz

i think maye is the better talent but i think TVD in the right system can run **** (as were seeing). tvd right now is a top 3 QB in the country based on play and ahead of maye. caleb williams penix and tvd have been lights out so far. mertz LOL. i had gator fans complain about playing utah and how we played bethune meanwhile they just played mcneese post utah and opened sec play at home to a bad tenn team

Nothing about Maye has really told me he’s better than TVD outside of the fact he is more athletic. Biggest component is we have an O-Lins that has given TVD ALL DAY to throw. I don’t see that changing at UNC, but I can see our DL being disruptive to Maye…(assuming Mesidor/Kelly/Deen are back)

Your friends are just silly. TVD hung 48 on the 1st/2nd best defense on our schedule.

I think we could hang 60+ on UNC. That would likely be 4 rushing and 5 passing TDs.

That UNC defense isn't stopping us. ****, we stopped ourselves on 2- 3 drives in the A&M game and still scored 48. The only way UNC gets a stop is if we stop ourselves.

Maye is gonna get killed running with the ball. I saw him get his bell rung his last game. He’s not that big weight wise. 215? He’s thrown 4 picks to TVD’s 1 and thrown 27 more passes with only 69 more yards. Maye’s a **** good QB but there’s not that much separation between he and TVD.

Very underrated. The guy is a scratch golfer and I guarantee you he has little time to play. He is not a runner but he can run if he has to do so. Personally the less he gets hit the better.
 
Why is everyone around the country popping one over Maye? I don't think he's anything special.
 
i can understand people going with maye based on the strength of last season and projecting that he'll tighten things up as this year goes on. but mertz? lmao

First it’s way way early in the season but based on play going into week 3, TVD is second only to Caleb. Let’s see how TVD plays out the rest of the schedule but he is going to get drafted and it’s a question of where. One thing is for sure, last year was on Gattis cause the kid looks might and day better under Dawson.
 
honestly I probably wouldn’t talk football with those folks again. Not because they are Gator fans but because they are clinically Insane.

First of all Mertz shouldn’t be mentioned in any any serious CFB convo. And I assume his name only came up by proxy of them being Gator fans.

Anyone who has watched Metz and TVD and would choose mertz deserves whatever comes to them.

P.s. Their tune will change in the next few weeks.
