TVD starting slow

Am I remembering correctly? Even during the Lashlee years TVD starts slow. I was at the 4th &14 FSU game. And he started slow then but turned it on to only have D collapse. His balls(pause) in the 3rd quarter last night seemed more urgent. It’s like he is so confident that he isn’t playing with urgency. When he does he looks much better.

It just makes for really horrible over reactions from the mopes in the gameday thread. It adds to the entertainment value on here at least. But yeah, first quarters were never our thing at least for a few years right? I don't think it was just TVD.

My guess is the thumb really was bothering him coming into this game. He didn’t throw downfield until the 2nd quarter and those balls floated a bit.
