TVD passing efficiency

Only look at FBS vs FBS games when comparing stats.

TVD currently is:

7th in passer rating
4th in yards per attempt
13th in completion percentage
5th in TD passes


And not to take anything away from him in the least bit, he’s been nothing short of spectacular. But here is where Clayton Tune finished last year at Houston working with Dawson:

12th in passer rating
25th in yards per attempt
12th in completion percentage
3rd in TD passes

Maybe buddy can coach a little bit 🤷🏻‍♂️

I was the biggest Travis critic on here, lol'd at people believing he could develop into anything other than a wannabe Lamar Jackson. But the kid just keeps improving. Looked really good v LSU. Norvell knows how to scheme to his strengths for sure. But Travis makes his own plays as well. He'll be a huge challenge when we play them later this season.
 
Jesus Christ. TVD has looked great. He’s a **** good QB so far.

But it’s also only been 3 weeks and he’s got an extra game on all of these other quarterbacks.

And 2 of our opponents are not good teams. Can we at least wait until after the UNC game to do stuff like this?

And Dawson has the one thing you DON'T want a coach to have: An inflated ego wrapped in obstinance.

(Mark D'Onofrio or Josh Gattis, anyone?)

Egos KILL coaching staffs. Dawson has the confidence and conviction you need, without the ego that you don't

Yeah no, he didnt play 3 games. He played 9 in 2021 and broke all kinda records. Gattis came with his offense and multiple people warned us about him plus injuries. Dawson comes in and TVD look like 2021. Not only does he look like 2021, he looks better. Total command. So 2022 looking like the anamoly..if we are being accurate.

Also he hasnt played 3 games, he played 1 full game, 3 quarters of 1 and and half of another. Some of the players with 2 games have has many attempts as he does. Factually.
