First I was surprised at how long he played, second I was surprised they had a designed run for him. I am liking him more and more as he performs. Kid is tough as nails and has exceeded any expectations. I should've know when Bama wanted him and I am thrilled his is still a Cane. I feel with him that every game on our schedule is winnable. If he runs more we'll call him Tyler Van Dash!

I am not being critical, I think the team needed those snaps as it is better than a scrimmage. I don't think I am the only one that had a wait and see if he was 2021 TVD or 2022 TVD, from now on he is 2023 TVD free of Gattis!

I'd like to see TVD model his game after Aaron Rodgers. Rodgers has a rep as a pocket passer, but he was always willing to use his legs to extend plays.

Love that he scored on the Read. Just another huge thing defenses will have to prepare for now which is great down in the red zone will slow down the back side edge

Size wise he's closer to Ben

Roethlisberger was actually much more athletic than people remember. Was a good high school basketball player and was around 230 coming out of university. Put on some bad weight as a pro though

That was a thread I started right before the Miami OH game. I expected 2021 TVD. So far, he's better than that. Our OL certainly helps. But he is also looking much more mobile, and he's a grown man now. We have a great one. Let's enjoy it.
