TVD Is Coming Back

There's some truth to that, but Gattis' playbook was complicated by all accounts. Also, it was dogsiht.
I wouldn't call it dog ****.

We didn't have the personnel to execute his offense. TVD was able to throw for a high percentage and yardage after the sit down so I believe he would be successful next season.

The issue on offense has been the offensive line. We couldn't run the ball when we needed to especially at the goaline. Gattis didn't adjust his play calling in the redzone which was the most disappointing for me.

Half way through thr season we had so many injuries on the offensive line ot was nearly impossible for any QB to be successful because there was no running game and little time to throw.

People need to be objective about the problems with the offense. Scheme and play calling were 2nd and 3rd on the list with offensive line depth and injuries being #1.

These people never cease to amaze me with their inability to see anything literally more than 3 inches in front of their faces.

******* Jordan Travis was a Top 15 QB this season. You think coaches of good programs wouldn't be able to mold TVD into a good player? Dude was **** near sensational in 2021, he's talented as ****, a few mediocre games under a lame duck staff means he's incapable of playing football? These people are so weird.
Weird is a understatement

I may be weird but I think you might be reading too much into my initial question. I never said anything remotely close to him being incapable of playing football.

It’s great that he’s coming back however It how long does it normally take for injury to heal?

Somebody help me out here, did TVD get a concussion? I don’t remember ever having heard that. Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention.

If it’s a rotator cuff or labrum and bad enough to where it needs surgery then worst case he would miss most of spring but be back by summer and fall camp no doubt

Maybe it’s something else but when I saw it reminded me of when I tore my labrum and rotator cuff back in the day

Was an honest question, what would his options have been? actually trying to rationalize it. Enter portal after the year that was had, would he be a risky take, a no brainer, what? Again, just curious. For the record I like TVD but have only witnessed 8 games where he was slinging.
His realistic option? Don’t go pro, enter the portal and immediately be the most sought after prospect to enter. That’s not me fan boying for him teams were hoping and praying he wanted out. There’s a certain team who doesn’t have a guaranteed starter and might miss the playoffs for the first time in a while for sure I’ve heard would have called.

Offense was dog **** before injuries

This is really good news. I think that with a years experience and a new found confidence J Brown will be able to push TVD which is good.

Now we sit in a holding pattern waiting for that announcement we all want to hear. Goodbye Josh!

Look at TVD's stats in the UNC and VT games which were after the meeting with Gattis and Ponce.

We didn't have the personnel to run the Michigan offense. It's just a bad fit. It doesn't make it dog ****.

For most of the season, we were able to move the ball between the 20's. We couldn't get TDs in the redzone and goaline. We couldn't run the ball in the redzone or goaline. To a fault Gattis didn't adjust his redzone play calling. He just kept trying to run the ball with backup linemen.

If we had the Michigan offensive line, we'd score more points than they do because we have a better QB.
