TVD is Brad Kaaya

Brad Kaaya was so much better it isn't even funny. Not sure TVD is much better than Rosier at this point. I mean, yes he's a better passer, but he can't run and his turnovers are absolutely killing us. A better comparison is Jacory Harris, but even he made way more plays (TDS) and was mobile enough to be a threat. When Van Dyke is off, he's REALLY off AND an immobile turnover machine. It doesn't get much worse than that. The only version of Jacory that was worse was Sun Bowl Jacory.

What makes you guys think King would do better under this passing system than under Lashlee?

He seemed to struggle with the timing of the rpo under Lashlee as opposed to him being more consistent under Briles. If my memory is correct, he lost the job at Houston when they hired a new oc.

I thought the differences in the way the two systems made reads was the problem. But he was a sniper against man coverage and Lashlee didn’t adjust very well when teams went cover 3 and took away the deep ball like Bama and Clemson.

Would really appreciate some insight on this.

King was more decisive and could create out of structure. Thats one thing we’re missing, if dawson play isn’t set up well its dead because tyler cant go create a play outside of the pocket or just pickup extra yards on the ground

And dawson could add a qb run game to help our current mid run game. We don’t really run much rpos now

Both were shells of their young selves by the time they were seniors. Both had multiple OCs, some of which did not play to their game.
