TVD is a pretty big ol' boy.

He missed quite a few easy passes. Maybe one of these “experts” in here who comments about mechanics can fix him
Adjustment to the speed of the game. Normal. Footwork will look like night and day this time next year. He actually looked a lot better than most frosh QB first days of practice

No one has one clue how this kid will turn out. I read last year how Jarren was going to turn out. I read an article talking about how Jarren makes NFL throws. Blah blah blah. This kid made some nice throws and this kid couldnt complete a go pattern down the sidelines with no rush and noone covering. So we shall see I guess. I with hold all judgment from this point in time.

Skillset is way beyond the other guys. I guess next year's QB could be something very special and beat him out. The other guys are highly unlikely to do that.

I mean if you’re going to base this on a few seconds of some YouTube clips of him throwing passes in shorts, did you actually look at all the passes he threw? He missed some pretty easy throws.

I have absolutely zero idea of how he’s going to turn out, and what kind of competitor he is going to be next year, but I can tell you this, neither do you. I hope he’s a stud. But right now, I have no earthly idea.

We got ourselves a hoss, good to see a QB of the past perhaps. Been a while. Let's enjoy the moment. Let's get back to the QB U. A blast from the past.

Not sure if there are other clips you're referencing of TVD being inaccurate, but what I just watched is high degree of accuracy with some lazy WRs on the deep balls.

Are we really arguing about passes in shorts?

Look, I’m in the camp that hopes this guy is all people like you are hyping him to be. But to pencil him in as a day 1 2021 starter is CIS delusion at its finest. Let’s start by seeing how he does in mop up duty in 2020...assuming he gets in at all.

I agree with you. I'm just saying his long balls looked pretty catchable, especially with a little more effort from the WRs.

I’m just a skeptic by nature on any QB that hasn’t taken a real college snap. Such a difficult position to learn, not just in terms of the physical aspect and technique, but the mental aspect and speed of the game, that I can’t even begin to project how someone will be when the bullets are real.

Rosier, Williams, Perry, Martell and King. TVD will be our future. KING , ain't a shoe in. Time will tell but time is short.
