Official TVD comments on Hard Rock

It would be sick if there was a smaller stadium we could play at for the tune-up games we play against G5 teams and the conference games no one comes out for and we could go back to Hard Rock for games against FSU, TAMU next year, the season opener, and other big games like that.

I haven't paid too much attention to the new stadium stuff seems it kinda seems like a pipedream to me rn so idk how many seats they say it would have but the problem is we have tiny attendance to most games and pack the house against big ticket opponents

Well this is going to go over well.

He tells no lies though.

Welcome to today's clowndick media. He didn't "roast" anything.

He spoke the truth; Miami doesn't have a college game day environment—but he left out the school has 12,000 undergrads—so even IF there was a campus closer to stadium, so what? You really think a ton of kids are heading to the Bethune-Cookman game? Southern Miss? Please. It's Miami. No one was showing up until North Carolina anyways.

Miami is an events town. Win ballgames and then Saturdays turn into events. What did dude really expect last year when he had the team 2-4 out the gate, after taking over when thing were 1-2 and shatting the bed?

"Miami plays in a half-full NFL stadium"

"There is no college atmosphere at the games"

"Other schools have way more fans"

Confused Trevor Jackson GIF by grown-ish

Seriously, though, why are some Canes sensitive to such comments, criticism, mockery, etcetera?

We'll never be UF or FSU or Bama or Ohio State or Oklahoma or Michigan or any of those type programs.

And they won't ever be us, either

CONTEXT .... part of his statement went like "there is nothing like playing away in a stadium with a huge crowd and making some plays that totally quiet that home crowd and takes them out of the game". So ... PART of the attraction is to "mind ****" the home crowd by beating their team. The Barstool Sports guy also agreed "some of my best memories were away games with huge crowds where we made some plays and just shut them down".

They showed that the first 2 games with no dropped passes and being wide open. Tvd ain’t look good in not even 1 game all year.
Real easy to catch balls against BCU & So Miss when it’s in a non hostile environment, my brotha. Hence, why I’ve told many week 3 will show us all what’s up.

I'm sure he thinks it blows as well. A&M lost to App St and still had 107,000 at the game against Miami. I mean why the **** are some of you insulted by TVD's comments?
He didn't lie but he could've said what he said without giving UF and FSU a lot of ammo to recruit against us.

To fill seats in Miami you need to be winning games or playing in meaningful games. We aren't a college town where there is nothing else to do on Saturdays and we don't have a student population of 50k+. TAMU has over 70k students lol

Here is what he said,

“I like away games better. We don’t really have much of a college atmosphere ’cause we play at Hard Rock. So we’re 25 minutes away from campus. So a lot of students don’t go up to most of the games, unless it’s a big game. That’s why I like going to away stadiums and seeing that college atmosphere, playing there, and making the crowd quiet.”

He said the quiet part out loud which hurts recruiting, but he also lied about the stadium only being 25 mins lol. On game day that shi is closer to an hour :P:ROFLMAO:
