A lot of people, myself included, could see physical tools and mechanics with TVD, but didn't know much else about him.

This is a function of being a dude out of Connecticut. It's hard to know how his high school performance will translate to CFB, when we know little of the quality of his teammates, competition, or coaching.

To your point I posted earlier in this thread, although he is from Connecticut he played for an elite prep school that took kids from all over that tri-state area. The competition he faced in Highschool was good, he played with and against D1 players in highschool
