I'm a huge Jake fan, but TVD has made me a believer. I expect bumps and bruises along the way being he's a freshman, but man this is one cool kat. His demeanor, poise, & confidence at this stage is next level. What's great is, he's just getting his feet wet. His potential is thru the roof and he's the type of guy teammates will go to war for. I think Jake is that guy too, but right now this is TVD's team. He's literally changing the whole trajectory of this season. Keep grinding young man.

TVD mindset needs to be on the future because ESPN networks will love the star Miami QB but they will break him down if he struggles.

IF thats what hes about then I agree but imo Jake should walk in next year thinking he'll be a superstar and make this a QB competition. He easily probably feels he was better when they were both healthy so don't run now

Garcia may have the goods, too, but claiming he‘s better than TVD is ridiculous.

TVD has five starts and played excellent since the second half of the UVA game. Garcia threw a few passes against Central Connecticut (and TVD played better in that garbage game).

I’d love to see these guys have a Kosar-Testeverde experience
Redshirt freshman (TVD and Kosar) play for 2 years and go to the NFL.
Backup (Garcia and Testeverde) sits for 2 years, them plays 2 years and wins a Heisman.
