Just to reiterate, Emory got the start against the two best defenses we played in 2023 (Clemson & FSU). My belief is that had Emory been given a start or two against a chump team (like 2-7 UVA) he could have been in a better position overall.

So Pops thinks his son’s leg injury hurt and TVD suffered? You know who suffered worse? The fans who suffered through that 7-6 season.
I kid. Kind of. Truth is these are no longer amateur athletes. They are being paid. Some are being paid a lot. TVD tried to use Alabama as leverage. He got whatever he got as a result, then played like doo doo. When you’re the QB or the coach, you get loads of credit when things go well; but you also get all the blame when it doesn’t go well.
