All depends on the flow of the game snd the push our line generates. Against our previous three opponents we were getting pushWe took a few chances against fsPOO going for it on 4th downs where we could have easily gotten 3 points. Do we take the 3 against Clemson or continue to take chances?
If we're settling for field goals, we'r enot gonna win the game. Obviously if it's fourth an long, we should kick but we need 6's not 3's if we're going to pull the upset. We took a few chances against fsPOO going for it on 4th downs where we could have easily gotten 3 points. Completely depends on the flow of the game. If we're up 6 and can get a FG to push it to 9, you might want to take it. Sure we don't want to settle for FGs all game long, but in a close game 3 points is far better than none.If we're settling for field goals, we'r enot gonna win the game. We could not fall on the opportunities created last time we played.. We have to capitalize if we want to have a chance..Turnovers and penalties will determine the game IMO.
I hope these are the Rings we use this weekend for TDs
If the forecast is anything close to accurate, there may not be a field goal made by either team tomorrow night. The only FG we settle for is Jose B’s 55-yarder with :02 on the clock to win the game 45-44....
^This^. Against the last seven ranked teams Miami has played it has scored a grand total of 3 points from 11 forced turnovers. According to the “Points Off Turnovers Efficiency” metric, since 2017 Miami ranks 120th!We now have an offense that can cash in on the TOs.
Getting TOs is nice but scoring off of them is more important.
